Who knew that when Joe was a young teenage boy he would meet a bubbly teenage girl that would one day be his wife? It is crazy to think that some of us can meet the love of our life during the education of our youth. And who knew that one day I would be the wedding photographer for my friend’s little sister’s wedding to Joe?
Yeah, I know, crazy!
After meeting in the most awkward stage of life, Megan and Joe’s mutual love and respect for one another grew from the teenage years into adulthood. Years later, on a partly-cloudy-fully-perfect day at The Ranch Country Club in Westminster, Colorado, these two made it official.
Megan kicked off her wedding morning laughing with her closest ladies in the midst of a plethora of pinks, salmons, and florals.
Joe and his pals were found sporting their grey suits and polka dot ties over by the adorable red-roofed barn.
Before the ceremony, a sweet embrace at the “first look” with Megan’s father 🙂
The long-awaited ceremony took place under the massive royal Coloradoan sky. Joe gleamed ear to ear as his once-upon-a-time childhood friend approached him now as his beautiful wife-to-be.
Immediately afterward, Joe and Megan posed for their couple’s portraits. And by “posed”, I mean, they completely blocked out the rest of the world and embraced one another as if they were the only ones at The Ranch. Of course, yours truly was there to capture their intimate moments.
Soon after their private rendezvous, Joe threw Megan over his shoulder (literally) and took her to their wedding celebration. The Ranch Country Club reception reflected Megan’s meticulous detail and imaginative artistry. For you macramĂ©-making designers and macramĂ©-loving consumers out there, the seating chart and bridal chair alone were drool-worthy.
Megan and Joe were engulfed by the joy in the room. The toasts spoke testimonies about Megan’s contagious personality, Joe’s heart of gold, and how so many years together only proved their compatibility and commitment to one another.
It was truly a day that was worth the wait!
