I met with Sherry on a sunny afternoon at a coffee shop in Denver and we hit it off right away. I knew I wanted to be a part of her wedding day and luckily before I left the meeting, she said the same!

These two had their wedding at the always stunning, Mount Vernon County Club in Golden, Colorado. With sweeping mountain views, a large upstairs reception room with a wall of windows, and a huge deck overlooking the views, you cannot go wrong booking this venue. I hangout with the ladies at their hotel while they got ready and my second shooter, Christina, covered the gents at the venue.

We had a first look in the fields behind the venue and it was beautiful! These two had their ceremony on the giant balcony, overlooking the mountain views. We barely missed the rain, but the moody clouds definitely added to the backdrop! During cocktail hour, everyone enjoyed drinks and each other’s company while some of the kids ran around in the rain outside 🙂 After the rain stopped, Sherry, Jared and I ventured out for couples photos and had a dreamy golden hour!

We returned to party in the upstairs room with the wall of windows for dinner, toasts and cake cutting, and then went back downstairs for the remainder of the night! Here is where the two shared their first dance outside under the twinkling lights, and a huge dance party started under the stars. It was one of my favorite receptions! Being lit by string lights just added to the romantics 🙂 Congrats you two, it was an honor to be a part of your day!
