Claire + Adam's Intimate Silverthorne Elopement

We all know that everything is bigger in Texas, right? But hold the phone… Did you know that two states over here in Colorado, the thin air actually makes our hearts bigger? Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk. Okay, to be fair, it was someone else’s Ted Talk. Regardless, our hearts are big out here in the Rocky Mountains. Yes, it is true. So, come one, come all, and welcome to Colorado!

I am not sure if Claire and Adam knew that interesting tidbit before choosing Colorado as their wedding destination. However, there is no doubt that they anticipated their Texan hearts to explode with joy, happiness, and adoration while celebrating their nuptials in the Rockies. These two gathered up less than ten of their closest family and friends and set out for the ski town of Silverthorne, Colorado, to exchange their vows. Two and a half years after meeting one another through the conveniences of modern technology, Claire and Adam were married in a private residence in front of majestic mountain views. Their special guests, adorned in furs and black ties, stood witnesses to the union beneath the glory of Mother Nature.

After the vows, we trekked below to the foothills of the Silverthorne mountain and laughed our way through the portraits. From Claire’s spontaneous dance moves to her and Adam’s random poses, I had a smile on my face the whole time. Not to mention that the lighting was also on my side that day – gorgeous! We returned to the private residence where a private caterer prepared us dinner. Yes, us! I was invited to participate in the culinary goodness and my heart felt like exploding from the yumminess – or was that the thin air?
