A colleague of mine was going to be in a wedding, so she referred her sister to me! What an honor! Michelle and Zack held their wedding at the gorgeous Pinery in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I love this venue and it’s sweeping mountain and city views! With their wedding being in winter, the sun sets much earlier than normal, Michelle and I brainstormed on what to do about their bridal party and couple’s photos since this would happen after the sun sets. We found a perfect spot 😉

Michelle got ready in the gorgeous bridal sweet upstairs in the Pinery. I loved the ladies in their matching silk pjs! After Michelle slipped into her stunning dress, the Blnk Films team and I stole her away to the room next door to document her reading the letter from Zack. Afterwards we did a few bridal photos of her, because the mood in this room was to die for! Then the ladies and I went outside to get some bridal party photos before the sun set.

My second shooter captured Zack and his team get ready downstairs while they took shots, had some laughs, and then took the gents outside to capture their group photos as the sun set behind them. Afterwards we documented Zack reading his letter from his wife-to-be, while her sister listened in with tears.

The wedding was beautiful inside. Dimly lit, with a view of the sun setting behind the mountains through the wall of windows!

After the ceremony, the bridal party all went to our pre-designated night spot and had some fun photos with the group! Afterwards it was just us, the film crew and the couple. The night shots were absolutely dreamy! Afterwards we went into the reception and enjoyed some beautiful first dances, hilarious speeches, cake cutting, and photo ops on their special Roseboro grass wall (a bridesmaid made it!). I had so much fun with this team of people. Congrats you two!
